Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Preparations are being made for Ramlalla Pratishtha on January 22 in Ayodhya. One of the three idols prepared for the sanctum has been selected. An idol created by Karnataka’s famous sculptor, Arun Yogiraj, has been selected for the Pranpratishtha of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has given this information by tweeting. He tweeted that the selection of an idol for Lord Ram’s Pranpratishtha in Ayodhya has been finalized. A statue of Lord Ram created by the country’s famous sculptor Yogiraj Arun, will be installed in Ayodhya.
The PM, Narendra Modi, will inaugurate the temple on January 22, 2024. Arun Yogiraj worked hard for six months on these idols, which will be placed inside the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Who is Arun Yogiraj?
The sculptor is Arun Yogiraj, son of Yogiraj Shilpi. He comes from a family of craftsmen of the Mysore palace. Arun’s father also worked for the Gayatri and Bhuvaneshwari temples. Yogiraj is also very active on social media. He has studied for an MBA. He also got a job in a company after his studies. Before this, he also made a 14.5 feet white marble statue of Maharaja Jayachamrajendra Wadeyar, Maharaja Sri Krishnaraja Wadiyar-IV and Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa in Mysuru. He also sculpted the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate.
